❗️ Rules of Rust Cheating
Admin Plugins
These plugins help server admins detect cheats and maintain fairness. Here's a breakdown:
- Arkan – Detects features such as no spread, thick bullet, manipulation, silent aim on cheats that don’t send view angles to the server, and low recoil. Gives admin notifications and autoban capabilities.
- Gallium Anti-Cheat – Works with Battlemetrics to track your BM hours on aim train and real servers. Includes combat logs that show hit locations and hit percentages. Detects features like jump height and flyhack violations. Offers powerful admin tools, including Discord notifications and instant ban options.
- Stash Trap – Places random stashes to catch cheaters digging them up.
- Recoil Hud – Displays your recoil pattern to admins on servers like UKN.
- Vanish – Allows admins to spectate players without being seen.
Ban Databases
Many servers share ban lists. Big admins on multiple servers can manually check if you're banned from another server.
Gamebans
Admins will ban you for gameban alts or gamebans. If your account has a Cerberus ban, it is treated like a game ban and admins usually don't care about it. To avoid this, use a good spoofer and change your public IP address. Admins track game-banned alts via IP addresses.
Playstyle
To avoid suspicion, play like a legit player and don't attract attention with aggressive moves. Here’s how to maintain a low profile:
- Gunfights: Don’t take unnecessary 1v5 engagements. Pick your gunfights carefully.
- Aim: Use a high-smoothing aimbot with ESP only and a debug camera. This helps you avoid suspicion by looking more legitimate.
- Stats: Keep an eye on your kill/death ratio (KD) as admins might look into this. Occasionally die or play poorly to make your gameplay look more natural.
No Fresh Accounts / Profile
Avoid using fresh accounts! Admins track your server history and report fresh accounts with low hours as suspicious.
- Use aged real accounts with actual stats.
- Admins use Battlemetrics to check server history. If you have under 100 BM hours, you might get auto-banned after a report.
- If possible, make your profile look more legit by adding Steam groups, using multiple aliases, and hiding your inventory.
Cheat vault offers cheap rust NFA accounts with hours and skins. These accounts are perfect for avoiding bans.
Getting Reported
The last thing you want is an admin watching you closely. Here’s how to avoid getting reported:
- Don’t consistently hit only chest shots.
- Purposely die sometimes and avoid using cheat features all the time.
IP Address and VPNs
Always use a residential VPN to avoid being tracked. Here are the best practices:
- Use a VPN in your country as admins can check your ping and location via your IP.
- A private residential IP or even a router that allows IP address changes works best.
Battlemetrics
Admins use Battlemetrics to track you from server to server once they catch you. To prevent this:
- Purchase Battlemetrics Premium and set your profile to private.
- Battlemetrics helps admins identify ban evaders by linking accounts to the same IP or alias.
Facepunch Servers
Admins in Facepunch servers have full access to ban your account. If you get banned here, reinstalling Windows is 100% required.
Discord Bots / Linking Discord
Do not link your Discord to any server. Some servers use Discord bots to check your activity.
- Never stream your cheats in Discord, as other players may report you.
- Avoid appealing bans in servers that have Discord bots, as they may check if you’re involved in cheating communities.
Flyhack Violations
Some servers, like Rust Reborn, may ban you for flyhack violations. These are rare on aim train servers, but they will attract admin attention if triggered.
Rules of Rust Cheating
- Reinstall Windows after each ban. If you play on Facepunch and get banned, a full reinstallation of Windows is required (including removing all partitions). Note: You should avoid playing Facepunch, as they have admins with access to full game bans.
- If you’ve used other cheats before, they often leave traces that can be detected. A reinstall of Windows is recommended.
- Server admins track your account history. Always use an aged real account with real hours. Admins can also see previous bans and servers you’ve played on.
Stolen Aged Accounts
A stolen aged account works better than a fresh account in avoiding bans. Server admins can view your account’s history, which includes bans from other servers.
- Stolen aged accounts are preferred over fresh accounts. Don’t just buy based on stats like kills or deaths; the server history is available to all admins.
- Avoid getting banned by using a stolen account that looks more natural over time.
What to Do with a New Account?
- Avoid getting tracked via IP by using mobile hotspots rather than VPNs.
- Use Revo Uninstaller to fully uninstall Rust.
